Gardening - Backyard Safari
One of our greatest joys now is spending quiet time watching the free entertainment in the back garden. Whether it's birds on the fence or at the feeder, woodpeckers on the suet or the family of squirrels checking out whatever they can get their little paws on, it's never a dull day!
In an effort to deter the squirrels from scarfing down all the birdseed, we put up a dedicated squirrel feeder, which was a great hit.
But, as you can see below, it's not entirely successful at keeping them off the birdfeeders!
But in the end, our little family of squirrels (we've seen a male, a female and what appears to be a youngster) are so entertaining, we can't get mad at them :)
